Okazaki Flower Festival

It’s only natural to want to picnic during cherry blossom season in Japan.  A week ago they were in full bloom, but today as I write this, they are nowhere to be seen.  On a rare Sunday off, we went off to Okazaki castle to enjoy some homemade food I made.  The cherry blossoms blowing in the wind and falling like rain with a backdrop of a castle and pink skies, feels like something out of ones imagination.  However, during cherry blossom season, for a very short time, it is a painting that you can experience.
