Today has been the coolest day this week and since the weekend is starting for many, hopefully the air will be less purple than it was today. I wonder how the air quality has been affected with a year of less than clean energy and Toyota recently running gasoline generators to stay off the overloaded grids.

Summer’s are generally smoldering around most of Japan, but this year after a small heat spell, it has been cooler than usual. The rainy season has been on and off and started later this year than any other since I’ve been here and I quite like this coolness. After a few days of 30 degree Celsius weather, this mid twenties weather has given me energy to do more than laze around the apartment.
